Woodchurch Carnival 2026 will take place on Saturday 6th June 2026.

A day filled with fun including fairground rides, a vibrant parade, live music, mouth-watering food and drink, unique stalls, an entertaining kids zone, creative crafts, fun performances and, of course, the adorable dog show.

To maximise the benefits of the fantastic community spirit we already enjoy in Woodchurch, we are looking to facilitate a way of coordinating events and activities across the Village.

The success of the carnival has shown what can be achieved as a team and we now wish to take this further:

We see some of the benefits being:

- Minimising overlap of events that target similar audience

- Networking and therefore promote support across events

- Promoting wellbeing (awareness of activites to join/volunteering opportunities)

To get started, we'd like to invite a representative from each group/club/society to join us:

November 3rd, 6.30 to 8 p.m.

THE WOODCHURCH CARNIVAL

After the very sad news of our Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II passing on Thursday, 8th September it is with much pride that the 2022 Carnival Committee can inform you that with funds made from the event we have purchased on behalf of the community an oak carved plaque marking our remarkable Sovereign's 70 years on the throne.

This is now a permanent fixture on our Beacon on The Green and will be a constant reminder of this significant milestone in the history of our Country, whilst celebrating a truly remarkable Queen's Platinum Jubilee Carnival Day for us all in our village.

Following the success of Woodchurch Carnival 22 sufficient money was raised to allow the Carnival Committee to allocate some money to be put directly back into the community. The total amount available is £3,000.
